- Zerosales from AI tools in 2024
- $11,304.81revenue attributed to ChatGPT, 2025 to November
- 4,000%increase in AI traffic, 2025 against 2024
The starting point
Argaux sells wines from independent producers online, and also runs pairing classes, tasting kits and corporate gifts. In 2024 its organic search traffic began to fall and rankings got harder to hold. AI search was not just weak for Argaux, it was a channel that did not exist: the brand had limited visibility in AI tools and made zero sales from them.
What changed
The agency rewrote content so AI tools could find, cite and recommend it. It worked on making sure AI tools clearly understood what Argaux is and how it differs from other wine sellers, and made technical changes so AI tools could crawl the site and credit it properly.
The test for every change was simple: if a customer asks ChatGPT about products in this category, will Argaux show up and make sense as the answer?
The results
For 2025 to November, the agency reports $11,304.81 in revenue directly attributed to ChatGPT and a 4,000% increase in AI traffic compared with 2024. It says AI visitors arrived with stronger intent and clearer expectations than other traffic.
What other stores can take from this
- Be easy to describe. Part of the work was making sure AI tools understood what Argaux sells and what makes it different.
- Write for the questions buyers ask. Argaux's content was rewritten so AI tools could find, cite and recommend it.
- A modest number can still be a real start. Going from zero to $11,304.81 turned a channel that did not exist into one that sells.
Worth knowing: This is the agency's own case study, and no one at Argaux is quoted.
